Fancy Feast – Lobster Tails

We eat most of our dinners at home and my husband (aka Chef Nathan) usually does the cooking. Our favorite go-to’s come up in the meal rotation often: tofu with broccoli and rice; pasta with veggie/basil sauce; tuna medallions with squash and couscous; etc. But the other night, for his birthday eve celebration, Nathan decided to experiment and make lobster. I had never actually had lobster before, and he had never cooked it before.

Online recipes and his instinctive cooking prowess came together wonderfully, and we had ourselves a fantastic dinner. Don’t get me wrong, I love going to a restaurant now and then, but it was so nice to have such a lovely celebration in our own little nest, and enjoy a luxurious meal without the fuss or cost of going out. I have a feeling that lobster may pop up in the rotation again soon …
