Workout Week – August 14th

I realize that it is August 17th as I write my workout week plans for August 14th …

That is because I decided not to have any workout plans this week. Essentially, this post is about my plan to have no plan.

I was on vacation with my husband and my parents last week, which was heavenly. I had the chance to relax, catch up on some reading, craft with my mom, bowl with my dad, go on a wild horse adventure (stay tuned for more on that!), play games, chat, and just simply be together.

8-14-17 Very Small Bites

This week was back to work and teaching and trying to catch up on it all; I decided on Sunday night (my normal workout planning night) to not force it and let it be. I knew that I would need to focus more on everything else and end up missing whatever workout agenda I had created, which would only lead to disappointment.

That said, I have still had opportunities to move this week; I went for a walk on the sand, a run on the sand, and I taught ballet for 2 1/2 hours. Tomorrow I will bust out my road bike again – or maybe I’ll run. Sometimes it’s good to wing it.
